What is meditation?

Meditation is training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. It's not about trying to turn off thoughts or feelings but instead learning to observe them without judgement.

Many people think that meditation is a difficult thing to master; people also put lots of obstacles and reasons in the way of finding time or energy to learn meditation. However, once people remove any barriers, find their flow and the way they like to meditate then it is a simple and effective way to experience great benefits and peace of mind.

 

 

 

My Journey....

I first discovered meditation five years ago at a Buddhist Centre and have continued my own daily meditation practice ever since.For me, meditation is not just a practice, it is a way of life and has changed my life for the better in so many wonderful ways. It has helped me cope with grief, anxiety and sleep issues and I find that I now respond to the challenges life throws at me rather than react. 

 

I trained with the British School of Meditation in 2019 and am now an accredited Meditation Teacher. I love being able to share the gift of meditation with others.
